“Anniversary Dinner”

We ate at Reeds on Tuesday 28th July for an Anniversary Meal. FAB-u-lous!!! Their new chef is amazing. The food and presentation were second to none. Great value with a 3 course meal being £26! It shows that he has been Michelin trained. There was plenty of each course but[…]

“First class food”

Part of a hotel, this restaurant is bright, airy and comfortable. The food is first class and the service great. The owner came and introduced herself after the meal. We have lived nearby for 7 years and this is the first time we have been here, but not the last.[…]

“Amazing quality food”

As the food was so good on the first night, we stayed on our pre booked table and we ate there a second night also. Exceptional value for money. Trip Advisor:July 2015

“Excellent Value”

Our second stay at Swallows Eaves and certainly not our last. A clean well furnished room in a friendly hotel. The breakfast is certainly more than sufficient to fuel a day exploring the surrounding beautiful countryside and villages. The evening meal in the restaurant is to be recommended. All in[…]

“Excellent in every way.”

We stayed only one night, but would have been more than happy to stay longer. Couldn’t fault anything, lovely room, excellent bathroom, fast wifi, comfortable beds, superb evening meal prepared by Michelin-trained chef, good service and all with a personal touch. Would wholeheartedly recommend it. Trip Advisor: July 2015

“An excellent stay in perfect surroundings”

“Idyllic East Devon Gem”

What a lovely experience it is to stay at this small hotel where the staff are excellent and the restaurant serves exceptional food all looked after by the owner Dorothy it is certainly a credit to her. Trip advisor: July 2015

“Immaculate and comfortable”

Dorothy gave us a very friendly welcome. We stayed in the superior king room. It was spotlessly clean and had a very comfortable bed. Delicious and very generous breakfast. The omelettes were perfect. Would definitely return. Trip Advisor: July 2015
