“Wonderful break on our anniversary weekend!”

We stayed one night at Swallows Eaves on a short break away to celebrate our anniversary. Everything from the warm welcome when we arrived to the lovely comfortable and pretty room made our stay a very pleasant one. Its the little things that make the difference sometimes and I liked[…]

“Autumn Break”

We stayed for 3 nights. Swallows Eaves is comfortable with a modern décor. The rooms are of reasonable size and are spotlessly clean. The ensuite bathrooms have good quality fittings, good thick soft towels, and excellent showers. There is a pleasant lounge and bar together with Reed’s restaurant. The food[…]

“Can’t believe it’s 2*, it’s much better”

I nearly dismissed this hotel as it is listed as 2* which I don’t do but my husband persuaded me. We booked last minute (one day before) for one night and had immediate confirmation and options for booking in the restaurant. There is plenty of parking (always a bonus) and[…]

“Visiting family in the area.”

“Brother’s Golden Wedding weekend at Peek house in Rousden”

Very comfortable room and facilities. Ground floor was essential for my wife as no lift in hotel. Staff kind and helpful. Sorry we were out so much we were unable to sample your chef’s cuisine on the Friday and Saturday evenings. Had to leave on Monday to attend medical appointments.[…]

“Anniversary Dinner”

We ate at Reeds on Tuesday 28th July for an Anniversary Meal. FAB-u-lous!!! Their new chef is amazing. The food and presentation were second to none. Great value with a 3 course meal being £26! It shows that he has been Michelin trained. There was plenty of each course but[…]
