Swallows Eaves Hotel

From the Blog

“Autumn Break”

We stayed for 3 nights. Swallows Eaves is comfortable with a modern décor. The rooms are of reasonable size and are spotlessly clean. The ensuite bathrooms have good quality fittings, good thick soft towels, and excellent showers. There is a pleasant lounge and bar together with Reed’s restaurant. The food served is truly excellent, being produced by a Michelin trained chef to a modern cuisine standard at an unexpectedly reasonable price.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. All in all we very much enjoyed our visit. The village of Colyford has two pubs within short walking distance of the hotel and so alternative catering is readily available. Access to the Seaton Tramway is beside one of the pubs giving a handy and interesting tourist attraction. Also nearby are the Ax estuary wetlands wildlife reserve.

Room Tip: No.6 is a good size room with a good view, 2nd floor so two flights of stairs but worth it.
